Skipjack, Ed Jones , Lawrenceville, GA
The latest from Mr. Jones showing progress on his Skipjack. It looks really great. Here you can see his gaff rig, which is a departure from the lateen in the plans. The gaff rig looks like fun, and really fits the boat well. We look forward to hearing how she sails!
Here's a link to Mr. Jones' web site: http://www.geocities.com/edskipjack/index.html.
Thanks Ed!

Mr. Jones is starting on his Skipjack. We look forward to more shots, as it looks like he'll be doing a nice job. He's already started personalising his Skipjack, as the rounded stem detail is an addition of his own!
Skipjack, Roger Otis , Grimes, IA
Mr. Otis built this Skipjack in the early 1980's from the book "Sailboats You Can Build" (which had the Skipjack and our first two projects for Family Circle magazine, a scow and a catamaran). He decided to change his rig, which looks nice! Thanks to Mr. Otis!
