What about the cockpit dimensions?

As in the interior sizes, the Vacationer has the most space, followed by the Pocket Cruiser, and then the Weekender. This is all going to sound confusing, but it's much easier to actually build that think about. We posted these dimensions because some people need to check the cockpit sizes more carefully than others. These are very simple and relative dimensions for comparing the Pocket Yachts; the plans are very much more accurate and detailed.

The Vacationer:
The Vacationer cockpit floor is 50" long, about 2' wide at the front and 13" at the rear. The seats are about 16" deep at the middle (they taper), and the seat front (under your knees) is 60" long and about 12.5" high. The seat backs average 13" high and over 60" long.

The Pocket Cruiser
The Pocket Cruiser cockpit floor is 51" long, about 2' wide at the front and 13" at the rear. The seats are about 11" deep at the middle, and the seat front (under your knees) is 53"" long and about 11.5" high. The seat backs average a bit over 12" high and over 55" long.

The Weekender
The Weekender cockpit floor is 42" long, about 20"wide at the front and 11" at the rear. The seats are about 13" deep at the middle, and the seat front (under your knees) is 49" long and about 12" high. The seat backs average 8.5" high and over 50" long.

These dimensions are approximate; the seats are complex shapes like the cabin volumes. The cockpit dimensions above should give one a feel for the relative sizes of each boat.
